The true value of Medicaid managed care is not only seen in budget stability and financial savings it provides to states and the public but also in the faces of members receiving preventive and specialty health care; the coordinated care teams who strive to improve patient outcomes; and the health plan innovators who, through data-driven research and development, advance our understanding of social determinants of health, reduce barriers to access, and build upon the foundation of knowledge to enhance our health care delivery system for all. Join us as we highlight the true value of Medicaid managed care by honoring advocates, pioneers, and visionaries who have worked tirelessly to uphold Medicaid’s mission and help fulfill MHPA’s strategic objectives.
