Session Presentation Information

Thank you for your interest in submitting a presentation proposal for the Medicaid Health Plans of America's 2025 Annual Conference to be held September 10-12, 2025, at the Sheraton Kansas City at Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri. MHPA will be accepting session presentations and new this year, research poster presentations. Information and instructions on submitting proposals follows

Maximize Your Impact: Submit Your Innovative Medicaid Care Session Presentations for MHPA25!

The theme of the MHPA 2025 Annual Conference is “The Rhythm of Progress: Medicaid's Beat in the Heartland” with session tracks devoted to Access to Care, Complex Care, Hot Topics, and Policy. Submissions should be related to the conference tracks, focus on innovative practices and proven solutions, and have relevance to the conference theme. With the exception of the Policy track (reserved for MCOs only), all presentation submissions should highlight an organization’s work in collaboration with a Medicaid Managed Care Organization (MCO) that solves an issue, meets a health plan need, and/or rethinks the delivery of care. Presentation submissions should be focused on enhancing the audience’s understanding of an MCO partnership with an organization, its structure, its goals and outcomes, any potential impacts on policy issues or areas, and how Medicaid enrollees are benefitted by the partnership, etc. This is not an opportunity to directly sell or to pitch products or services, but rather an opportunity to showcase innovations deployed by MCOs to support its members and the Medicaid program broadly. The goal is to provide MHPA25 attendees with take-home knowledge to help them in their mission to positively impact their Medicaid members’ health. Submissions will be rated based on the strength of the submitted information and adherence to the criteria outlined.
